Introduction- Among the commentaries used in this series, I relied heavily on Charles Swindoll's book on Moses for both content and structuring the series

The key ingredient is obedience- obedience means life; disobedience means death

I. THE OBEDIENCE OF ISRAEL

1- God’s Word to Pharaoh- Ch. 11

2- God’s Word to Israel- Ch. 12- Calls for obedience in seven areas:

a) The calendar- vv. 1-2

b & c) The lamb and the blood- vv. 3-7, 12-13

d) The meal- vv. 8-11

e) The ordinance- vv. 14-20, 43-49

f) Teaching their children- vv. 24-27

g) The journey- vv. 29-42

II. THE LESSONS FOR OUR OBEDIENCE

1- Obedience Means Being Sensitive to His Voice

2- Obedience Means Trusting His Provision

3- Obedience Requires Teaching the Next Generation

4- Obedience Is Rewarded with Joy

Conclusion- Only two things are eternal- The Word of God and people
